Son of a gun... so this thing has been sitting around for 8 months now in a $20 set and I didn't even know about it?
Yeah. It was quietly released under the radar screen, wasn't it? I would have put a big sticker on the box trumpeting the fact that it was in there, but coming from a company (MGM) that can't be bothered to accurately inform their customers that their releases are anamorphic anymore, it's not surprising....

Finally (for me) a version that contains the above lines. I've just put the order in. Happy days...

I just bought the new release yesterday, and watched it last night...Because I LOVE the movie....that being said, I must say....

I, personally, do not see the differences between this actual theatrical release version versus the older Anchor Bay "Theatrical" release version neccessarily worth a double dip!

I do love the addition of that line, but really, the only major differences I noted was a slightly different scene in the police station in Atlanta with a few additional lines, the removal of the "Zweitek" realtor scene, and the additional lines given to Graham....plus the fact that there is NO extras whatsoever, I would really recommend the older Anchor Bay release if I had to have just one, at least it has some interesting extras....

I'd love to see a DVD Talk review of the new release...hint, hint.

(Actually, I'd be even happier to see DVD Beaver do a comparison of all the versions.)

Holy Moly, under the radar indeed! I am all over that bare bones release. I just love the soundtrack in this flick.

I would still stick with my Anchorbay Limited Edition Set.
