That should be my motto. I'm more uptight about some things than I should be. And this shouldn't be one of them.

The artwork isn't my favorite... But then again I guess the artwork for the fourth movie will never be surpassed...

I don't like the artwork cover for this release but I'm definitely getting the two disc version.

However, DVD Times posted the image of the giftset and it looks absolutely phenomenal. I might just be tempted to buy this set...

Personally, I'd skip the gift set because if you're going to spend that kind of money, why not wait a couple years for when the ultimate gift set comes out with all 7 movies?

Yeah, that gift set looks great, but I will wait for the big box in a couple of years (even though I am buying the other titles now). I will probably only buy a big box set if it contains the extended cuts though.

Yuck on the Order of Phoenix cover art. Why not use the great theatrical poster. I realize it wasn't very original, but having the kids all looking intense with the great "The rebellion begins" tagline was better than horrific photoshop images of the cast pointing wands at us...

Good news on the date, even though this was my least favorite one because I'm a collector I'm sure I'll get it anyways

I just don't understand why, time after time, these studios continue to churn out crappy DVD covers when they can just use the far superior poster art. That said, the cover art won't make or break my purchase; it's the 2-disc for me, as it has been with all the HP movies.

However, I hope that when they finally get to releasing extended editions, they'll release them with classy, consistent packaging. I'd be happy with either painted art matching the first 2 HP movies' packages (not sure why they strayed from that), or something subtle and color/design based like the LOTR:EE packages.

I had a huge problem with that too. Those were really neat designs for the first 2 posters. My belief was that studio wanted to focus on the characters maturing more, and those painted designs were more "children's movie" in look/feel. Still... having the characters standing in sexy poses on the 3rd and 4th posters creeped me out. One could argue the studio was making the kids look more "confrontational," but attending college when those films came out I heard my fair share of "Oh my god! Harry is so bleepin' hot in this one!" or "That chick (Hermione) is hot!" when classmates saw the ads around NYC. Those actors are 13-15 year old kids playing 13/14 in those movies. Really really creepy to have 20+ year old women talking about how "hot" Harry was, etc. Part of me feels the advertising had a little to do with that. This one wasn't bad at all, http://content.answers.com/main/cont...ban_poster.jpg but
http://www.newsdesk.umd.edu/images/H...%20poster3.jpg is disturbing to me. IMHO.

I no longer care that the DVD packages don't match... I'll just sell them off and buy the inevitable box of all 7 that will come out to help my OCD problems.

Agreed. The cover art looks like a lazy photoshop job. Obviously still going to buy, but ever since ...the Chamber of Secrets, the artwork has not been so appealing. To me, anyway.

I think there might be some uh, slight Photoshop skin-smoothing going on there. Ron and Hermoine look like 3d cartoon versions of themselves

Does anyone else think it's weird that all of the high def discs and the 1-5 giftset are available for pre-order, but not OotP?

It is strange. I've been curious to see if the extras will be more than games now that the films are more "adult". Previous extras have been pretty craptastic and not worth the extra cost of a 2 disc... at least for me.

Yeah. I've been waiting about a month for the 2-disc set to go on pre-order. What the heck?

Artwork is a huge step down from the first movie. Whatever happened to the drawn posters, it made the movies seem more 'magical' if that makes sense. People pointing wands isn't as cool.

You can pre-order at DeepDiscount, DVD Planet, DVDPacific and DVD Box Office; not sure what the hold-up is elsewhere...
