Yes, they certainly do....
Baron Blood looked PRETTY good on the Image disc, and Lisa and the Devil was almost considered a lost film at one point so it looked good under those circumstances.
These transfers look like they will be outstanding. KILL BABY KILL was certainly a keeper on the last set....

Does anyone know if the audio is any better in this box set? If I remember right the volume of the audio track would fluctuate insanely throughout the entire film.

Is there enough left for a volume 3 at this point? The only IMAGE titles not re-released are HATCHET FOR A HONEYMOON and I, VAMPIRE...
I don't know why but I'm reluctant to part with my IMAGE discs....they had such great packaging and liner notes. There is something wrong with me.

I'm just getting around to Bava's stuff and I'm glad I waited. Just nabbed box #1 can't wait for #2!
What about his other films; Shock, Blood and Black Lace, The Whip And The Body, Hatchet For The Honeymoon. Might these end up in a bava box vol. 3?

It is worth a few bucks and has been averaging around $100 on eBay for awhile now. I see no reason why it will drop in price., since it will apparently never see release officially. You may want to hang on to it since the Anchor Bay disc has NO extras to speak of. The Tim Lucas commentary would be interesting to hear...

I have a pending transaction on my card for $30.18 from Deepdiscount, so hopefully that means they are prepping my Bava Box 2 for shipping.
EDIT: Yep, shipped!

Excellent! I hope Netflix gets with the program and replaces'em proper. Now if only MGM would rerelease Planet of the Vampires. And so many other great Midnight Movie releases, like Corman's Poe series. But I digress...
