I was wondering if columbia tri-star will release sidekicks with chuck norris and and jon brandis on R1 dvd?

I wonder why this film has not been released on dvd yet? not enough support? its available as vhs, a laserdisc, and an import in others regions, by why no love for this film, here in the states? c/mon columbia release this film in his OAR on dvd. I would like to see a commentary with chuck norris, and dana mckeller if possible if released to dvd.

why is it that there are some films you grew up as a kid still not available on the dvd format.maybe this will get a blu-ray release? I'd be happy with it on dvd, but i'm still waiting.

chuck is the one holding this up. He has threatened to round house kick every one at columbia-tri star if they were to release it. And since a round house from chuck = death, its not coming out

This DVD had a release on region 1 in Canada I believe, but it is pretty hard to get now. I used to own it on region 2 DVD, it even had a free self defense lesson with chuck. A proper region 1 release would be welcomed though, as its a childhood favourite of mine.

This seems to be available in a few different countries, such as Canada, Germany, Holland, Spain, and France. Does anyone have any info on these releases, especially regarding picture quality? The Spanish DVD appears to be widescreen, but Spain has a reputation for bootleg releases, so there's no telling what the transfer would be like.

I used to own the Alliance version in Canada, which I ended up selling on eBay.

I wouldn't trust any versions outside North America, it's too difficult to tell what's a bootleg and what isn't.
