"The Number 23" dvd question

I got around to watching this dvd and I noticed some pixelization and stutters at a few points in the film. Mainly during:

Chapter 7 21:55
Chapter 9 32:45
Chapter 10 37:21

I was using a Nad T533. I returned the disc as I thought I got a bad disc and it turns out I got the same issues again. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I had it freeze on me 2 or 3 of times as well, not sure if it was the exact times you mention but it was probably around the times you mention. I do remember there was one scene when he was talking to the doc who was sitting at a desk. I rented it and returned it already so I can't check...

I rented this from Redbox and watched the unrated version, having no problems. I do not know the points where the "unrated" stuff was added, but its possible that your player had trouble with the branching (I believe this is how it was done, since both cuts are on the disc).

I know chapters 9 and 10 contain some new footage so that might be the reason... But I didn't notice any problems.

I didn't have any problems on my at home player, but it did stutter when I tried to watch it on a cheaper portable dvd player.
