Center Of USED DVD Chipped - HELP!
I just bought a used DVD from Movie Gallery , and the center (where the hole is) is a little chipped , it plays , and it's not that big , it just worries me , no extra copies so I can't exchange it? You guys think it'd be OK???

If the disc is chipped you should get a refund. Any disc damage is unacceptable. I've had this problem with some TV box sets and I *always* return the chipped disc. On the other hand, if you're happy with damaged merchandise keep it.

If you're asking if it'd be OK meaning if it'd play OK - yes, it'll play OK. My brother recently got Deadwood's 2nd season and the center of one of the discs was also chipped (don't know how it happened), and it played just fine.

It will play but eventually (or usually) the entire ring in the center collapses. If you still have your receipt, Movie Gallery will replace, or give you the credit you paid for it. Also, there are 5 stores around me, and all of them are not connected in any way, but they will let you exchange dvd's youve bought from other stores. So if you have another one in your area, check it if you'd like the same movie you purchased.
