Apparently this features a commentary by Kathleen Turner and Herschell Gordon Lewis. Although I don't know if they are on the same commentary track or not.

I love this movie! Kathleen Turner is a riot and I love the courtroom scenes.

Will definitely make a purchase.

I bought a copy on ebay as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend, and it never came. I kind of figured this might happen.

Although I'd hate to give up the Waters commentary on the original release.

Why give it up? At about $5 for the original release, why not keep both versions on the double-dip?

That's my point. I'd hate to have to keep my old version, but I would.

My preference is to junk the discs which I replace.

Here are the extras, according to TLA Video:

• Audio commentary with John Waters and Kathleen Turner
• Audio commentary with John Waters
• Featurette (Serial Mom: Surreal Moments)
• Featurette (The Kings of Gore: Herschell Gordon Lewis & David Friedman)
• Featurette (The Making of Serial Mom)

...and according to them, it will be anamorphic.

I really thought I was the only one who loved this movie. Everyone I ever mention this too has no clue what i'm talking about... I'm in for a double dip though I wish it was coming on HD-DVD...

I've been on a John Waters roll lately, can't wait to watch this. The premise kills me.

So this is apparently out, but I haven't seen it in any stores. Anyone find it at Circuit City, haven't checked there yet. Best Buy online says store pickup is NOT AVAILABLE.

Oh how true that is.

First, Best Buy didn't have it.

Then, Circuit City didn't have it.

Thank God there was a MovieStop right next door. Granted it was a buck more, but it's worth it. The new transfer looks great and the Waters/Turner commentary is hysterical.

Good to know ReduxGuy, I just recently found out we had a MovieStop. I'll check by there tomorrow.

I found it odd that Best Buy had MST3K The Movie but not this. MST3K has no features (not even scene selection) but Serial Mom is a collector's edition.

Well, the previous edition was OAR. But this one's anamorphic!
