That's one of the questions I asked the reps at Comic Con.. Word from them is:
Deathproof: No trailers
Planet Terror: Machete Trailer
"Double Feature" (expected "later this year") should be the theatrical cut with all trailers in tact.

Well, on IMDb, there have been discussions of people in NY and the UK already coming across the Death Proof DVD.
And there are clear clips of the "Down in Mexico" lapdance/foot rub scene to back it up.

I just snagged the rip of the movie since I've been dying to see the extended cut. I'm quite happy with it. Pretty much every character has something added so its just a much more fleshed out version. Hopefully the features are good. I noticed the picture of the steelbook looks a bit different on the Best Buy website. Perhaps the design changed or they have some sort of slipcover to house the third disc. Guess we'll find out in a few weeks.

I ok with them releasing the films seperately for dvd. They should have done that in theatres. Just have the cinemas show them back to back, but for 2x the cost. Anyone willing to sit for damn near 4 hours to completely take in the grindhouse "experience" probably would have been willing to pay the extra green. Would not have been hard to set up. I work in a theatre and I remember seeing the size of that puppy on the platter. Ginormous!!
I'll certainly be buying these on release day or at least pre-ording from deepdiscount and maybe getting them a day early
