I don't know what to tell you. I'm glad you're not a film editor.

Jeebus, just bring it out already. It's interesting that Uma was even commenting on it, so there must be something really happening now. But who knows with Tarantino... that guy jumps projects like a kid with ADHD.
Just bring it out on Blu-Ray please.

Germany is getting Death Proof/Planet Terror on BD sometime this summer.
However, I'll just continue to enjoy my Japanese Kill Bill/Grindhouse releases.

I'm tired of waiting for these people to get their shit togeter.

One of the best things about HD is that it transfers film prints so well that they actually retain the "film look". This is why I love older grainy movies on Bluray. On DVD the films look good, but they look processed and the grain looks unnatural. On Bluray these same films pop with life because they actually look a whole lot more like film. The video appears less digitally compressed, and the grain feels totally natural and lifelike. So even the Grindhouse doesn't actually have the best picture quality the HD transfers must look fantastic.

actually I thought the colours on Tarantino's film in HiDef were even better, very saturated and tactile.
