I found the Ultimate edition pretty disappointing, essentially all you're paying for is more glitzy packaging. This was also true of The Searchers Ultimate Collectors Edition, but it was hard to get worked up about that one because for $10 more you could have the whole John Wayne John Ford Collection. For the extra bucks you get a comic book, press book and lobby cards, but NOT the photo postcards that come with the regular two-disc edition.

I bought it and think it's beautiful. Very classy packaging, the the vintage comic book reprint is amazing. But no, there's no mail in poster offer.

I opted for the standard edition....all the SAME disc extras and the lobby card reproductions were included (if thats important to anyone) for a whopping $12 and change. The repo poster would have made all the difference....thats why I bought the deluxe KONG and FORBIDDEN PLANET sets. Take note WB's

Thanks for the info. That made up my mind. I'll go with the 2-disc over the Ultimate Ed.

Yeah, you can't go wrong with a Toth comic! Now that I know that's packaged with this set, it just moved up to the top of my must-have pile.
