was never really a fan of XPW, but i think i may pick this up, well, pretty much to pick this up. maybe there are some good Shane Douglas promos and matches on it. (i'm a Franchise mark)

i got a few ROH dvds today, watched "Good Times, Great Memories" earlier and really enjoyed it. the Murder City Machine Guns/Briscos match was excellent. the Christopher Daniels "shoot" on ROH was also entertaining and a pretty good way to take him off of ROH shows. (damn you TNA!!)

For those who care. Summerslam '04 w/ benoit on the cover is still up for sale.
Just to update. FYE & best buy stores have mania 20 for sale, so if it's being pulled it's an inhouse thing for the time being.

As for XPW: Season 1. I'll probably get it, just to get it. I really hope they cleaned up their footage. Some of it is really bad. I wish big vision would put out a WSX dvd instead.

FYI, the WM XX on Sale is the Slim Line Edition not the 3-disc Foil Limited Edition

I just bought Backlash 04 about a month or so ago, and now I don't know that I'll even be able to watch the freaking thing, or at least not the main event. Ruins the Rumble from that year as well.

Is the slim line WMXX 2 disc or did it get the Tombstone Undertaker treatment with 3 discs stacked together???

Good thing i bought WMXX, Hard Knocks, Backlash 2004 and all the other 2004 ppv DVDs that WWE will pull out when they first came out.

I read when they first re-issued the wm 20 slim line, It was a 3 disc stacker (like the taker set).

I have since read they figured out how to store 3 disc in a slim line and it's now set up similar to the mick foley hardcore edition greatest hits and misses dvd...hence not a stacker.

Thats how Undertaker Tombstone, American Dream Dusty Rhodes Story and the Mick Foley Hardcore Edition greatest hits and misses were released in Canada. Its basically a double flipper holding 2 discs and the 3rd is on its on hub.

Too bad we didn't have the talking DVD cover for the Dusty Rhodes DVD and just a slim line.

Here's another store update for those who care. Just got back from one of my local best buys and they have the 3 disc wm 23 digipak sealed for sale, no Tin's available.

i just bought a dvd called Rodman Down Under for $1 at Wal Mart, it's a wrestling dvd with Dennis Rodman and Curt Hennig in the Main Event, it's a pretty well done production. on par with TNA, imo. also on the card is One Man Gang VS Tatanka, The Public Enemy VS The Road Warriors, Brutis Beefcake VS The Barbarian, with commentary by some guy and Ted DiBiase. in between matches they have dancers, ala the nitro girls named the igenerates.

Anyone pick up those Collection bundles that were linked from amazon? Ecw collection or the Wcw collection?

I haven't seen them in stores and I'm kinda interested in seeing how there packaged.

I can't believe it's been that long, but here's the wikipedia link to the event.

I noticed Amazon.com has discontinued the Royal Rumble Anthology. I guess WWEshop.com will do the same very soon, and later will release them in separate volumes.

I think this is Benoit related. I would not hold your breath waiting for the separate volumes, I have a feeling the WWE is going to OOP all dvd's that contain Benoit footage, which is just about every single release. People are going to be furious but I think it would be cheaper for them to just stop making them than to go back and remove all the footage. So IMO whatever is out there now is all you gonna get!

I am 99% certain that the anthology was going out of print long before Benoit happened.

What I am saying is I don't think the separate volumes are going to be released. Too much Benoit footage in them, especially the Rumble he won. The WWE will never release that Rumble again, so I seriously doubt any Rumble sets are going to be released. I still see the Rumble Anthology at retail stores, I saw them at 2 different FYE's this past weekend so they are still out there, not cheap but still available...
