If it's available on R1 DVD in WS: No.
If it's a open matte transfer of a movie I really like: I'll live with the cheap FF DVD, but double-dip once the film is released in OAR.

I would if its cheaper. All you're missing is the sides, you still get the dialogue. It's not like they are editing the story.

I've picked up a couple used FF discs but only because the WS hadn't been released. Now I only purchase real keepers regardless of the price which means FF would never qualify no matter what the price.

I bought " Just One of the Guys ". It's only available in fullscreen, + if I remeber correctly it was 1.85:1. $4.99 on sale.
One of my gulity pleasure movies, " The Doom Generation " was only made FS. So I bought it regaurdless. Those are the only 2 FS'ers in my collection.

It was possibly in the free magazine subscription thread in Hot Deals, and someone mentioned the lifetime sub Rolling Stone was offering for $100. Someone suggested getting it for your kid so it lasts longer. Someone then suggested a better alternative.
"Buy the lifetime subscription to RS for the child of your worst enemy. That way, they'll grow up to be a leftist with bad taste in music."
