I saw it, I loved it. What's sad is the main reason I wanted it to do really well s so we would ge all the cool dvd releass of "the films that inspired" Grindhouse like we did after Kill Bill. Maybe the DVD's will do so well that it will have the same effect, I nearly went broke buying all those bitching releases in the wake of Kill Bill, like Thriller, etc.

Good. This can only help the chances that we will see a GRINDHOUSE dvd sooner more than later. I don't particularly like seeing DEATH PROOF bomb overseas, but if it bombs on DVD here as well, Weinstein may see the light and realize there's more commerciality in the GRINDHOUSE name and finally just put it out. In the meantime, at least all the DP fans can get their extended edition as well. Do you think they will even bother doing a theatrical release for PLANET TERROR overseas now?
