Noon? Lol. Half of the helmets were gone the 30 seconds of opening. When I was leaving the store, there was such a rush of cars coming into BB. You should've seen there faces when they saw me with my sexy helmet edition. They parked the cars and literally ran in. Awesome experience!

MY wife asked what i wanted for my birthday this year as money was kind of tight. I told her all I wanted was a drive to the closest best buy to pick up this set. I woke up nice and early this morning, and attempted to wake her. No luck. I Got the kid up, asked if she needed to feed him. No'. I keep telling her we're not going to make it (it's a 45 minute drive away). She finally wakes up, right on the deadline of when we'd have to leave telling me she has to shower and feed the kid. Of course I'm not going to make it. Looks like I'll be getting a divorce instead.

well, in-store pickup is still available at all 6 BB's near me and it is 12:30pm EST now.
all those people who rush in to get these the minute the doors open i find to be so weird. that this thing in them tells them they have to have this now or else something in their souls will be lost. i don't get it.

I seriously don't get it. It's one thing when there is exclusive content or extravagant packaging (which is why I was far more excited about the Popeye Tin) but this is simply an oversized box and a helmet. How many people really are going to display this? The rift between J6P and the collections I see on this forum is starting to make no sense to me.

I thought it was pretty fun. I agree though, I don't know why there was such a craze, but something told me this would happen. So I went there early just to experience it for myself. I have to say paying $12 extra for the stupid helmet wasn't worth it unless there was a rush when the store opens. In the end it was fun.

I got to my BB at opening as well, and they had no more than 12 of the helmet editions. I got mine of course, even pointed it out to a lady buying it for her son who couldn't tell the difference between all the versions.

So yea, this is a very limited set, glad I was able to get mine. Unlike the V for Vendetta set, my BB still has about 10 of those sitting around.

So is the helmet cheap plastic? Or is it good quality?

this morning was madness. a line had formed outside the local BB. as they let us in, we shuffled towards the stairs leading to the basement level where the stuff was. two mongrels ran out of nowhere from behind and almost bowled a few of us over while walking down the stairs in an attempt to reach them before the others. i got caught by one of the idiot's shoulders, and when i said "hey watch it man", he dared replied "SAAAYYYY WHAAATTT??!" Was anyone able to find Last Stand of the 300 - The Legendary Battle at Thermopylae, the History Channel documentary anywhere? I couldn't seem to find it at BB, CC, Target or Walmart.

I saw this at Best Buy LAST week. They had it out early at the Omaha store on 74th. It was in the war/western section though, not with the documentaries, so check the war/western sections there if you already haven't.

My Best Buy had the Last Stand Of The 300. I bought the 300 Gift Set about 11:30am. They had about 20 more.

I just got mine also. I have to go back because the helmet is crack. You guys should check and see if its okay. looks very flimsy

well since i cant afford the steelbook from future, who has the cheapest price on this? is the 2 disc worth the extra cost? blind buy for me
