I agree with the OP.

There has been very little significant to discuss here lately. Remember last year with all the comotion caused by the Star Wars OOT screw job Lucas gave us? Now that was some talkin'!

I am really, really, really looking forward to Blade Runner: The Definitive Cut 4-disc box set due out....when??? IMHO, THAT will be the next significant DVD milestone on this year's horizon.

It's probably boring for you because DVD has been around for 10 fucking years already.

At this point, you're dealing with new theatrical releases, quad-dips with a new featurette, and obscure 1950s TV shows.


Do yourself a favor and buy an HD DVD player.

Simple mistake. Just back it up a day and mark Aug 0th on your calendar.
