I just clicked on that Golden Girls thread because you singled it out and I was "bored". There was a link in that thread to a different message forum devoted entirely to the Golden Girls! Nothing else, just people discussing Golden Girls. And you think DVD-Talk is boring?

I actually have felt the same way about the dvd releases as of late, but what big movie still needs a release?
I am totally psyched for the Flash Gordon release, made my day. So I guess these threads aren't that boring!

I would be thrilled to have the African Queen on dvd. It's in the AFI top 100 movies of all time (ranked #17). Supposedly Warner Bros. will release it later this year IIRC.

Funny thing is, is that had you asked about an "insert", you would've been taken seriously!

I hope it stays open, it is currentyl my favorite thread. Everything has been dull lately without DigitalFreak in the HD forum stirring things up.

Since this thread has become the collection of all things, I will express my vote to bring back Digi. Oh and express my hope for a release of Rad on DVD or HD-DVD or BD (don't know who has the rights).

The DVD release had digitally blurring on Harring's lower region that wasn't present in the theaters. Lynch apparently did this to prevent shots of her bush from appearing all over the web and such.

Now back to your regularly scheduled nonsense...

I'll second that!

And I certainly miss Danol and his dumpster-diving exploits. Ah, the good ol' days...

I disagree, I think the 2007 Criterion releases have been the most exciting and ecclectic discs released so far.

Mods don't pay attention around here anymore, it seems. Last time a thread needed to be closed, it finally had to be posted in the feedback forum to get someone's attention.

The mods stopped hanging around here as soon as it got boring. They're coming back on Aug 1. Which unfortunately is a Wednesday.
