I re-edited it an included the Futureshop Exclusive

I don't think even a giftset can make me pay that much ($59.95 SRP) for this movie. I'm waiting for the inevitable price drop on the 2-disc to make it worth my while (and only because I'm a comic book movie completist).

Seriously??? Because there have been hundreds upon hundreds of comic book movies released.

There are 887 alone in this search on IMDB.com and this probably doesn't include comic book movies like Road to Perdition, Ghost World, American Splendor, and others that are not superhero based. I am not sure about titles like Lil' Abner, Blondie and others from the 30's and 40's that were not superhero based but comic book based.

And I am not trying to be a smart ass....it's an honest question because I've heard of people who say they collect comic book movies on DVD but really don't have the number of titles that are available out there. It would be a truly awesome collection to have if you did have all the comic book movies!

I was at a HMV a while ago and saw a copy with a bonus headband.. Was that a stand alone exclusive for a US retailer?

Hi. I guess no one really reads this thread anymore?

Anyways, I was in the bargian thread and say a post about some $0.01 Bestbuy items including Mythos Ghost Rider book.. Was this what the white hardcover book?

Because I saw a copy at a local warehouse grocery store that had a sticker indicating a bonus Mythos Ghost Rider book.. But it was too busy for me to go to the counter to check if they still had this book there or if it was a small pack-in inside the case..

The one at bestbuy is a shrinked version of the mythos book.

Yeah, it goes at a penny (to some bestbuy stores who have overstocked it or not sellable).

Im drooling to get the boxset... (its a huge heavy horizontal rectangular shape box with a very detailed flaming Ghost Rider bust)

It was on my hand.. but the freakin store wont sell it.. even if Im offering for the MSRP price of $60 .. their answer.. they might get caught selling it ahead of street date...

Oh well... come Nov 13 that giftset will be mine

So it is big too? I am glad to hear it the details on size were pretty shifty. I better start making room on my Ghost Rider shelf.

That limited edition gift set is $35.97 on the Columbia House website if anyone is a member there (2.99 shipping).

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but amazon.com's listing for this has a couple of user-added pictures for this, and I can't help feel disappointing by the box's presentation. Even though I've picked up every single Marvel-movie-related giftset there's been thus far in R1, I'm probably going to pass on this one.

Probably.

For some odd reason I absolutely blanked on this new gift set. Never heard of it or came across any pics until I walked into a best buy last sunday. They had 2 sets and both looked like they were found in the deepest, darkest parts of the store. Figuring I just came across a rare exclusive that I must've missed back on release day, I jumped on the one less trashed and bought it.

After a lil research, I found out that what I had was no rare exclusive, just a really cool looking set that just came out a few weeks ago. So, I ordered another one from amazon and I just got a crisp mint set from them. So, I can now take back the one I got from best buy.

Gotta admit, One of the better looking gift sets.
