Not true, Paramount just bought the rights from Dreamworks to release and distribute all the Dreamworks catalogue. Correct me if I am wrong. As a matter of fact I believe Gladiator was released recently through Paramount in a Best Picture pack. So I would assume that the Ridley Scott triple feature idea may in fact might be very possible. That would be a great move from Paramount and we'd be getting 1492: Conquest Of Paradise, so that would make it an exclusive triple feature so to speak. Who would not want that Ridley Scott triple feature? Gladiator, 1492: Conquest Of Paradise and Black Rain. C'mon Paramount!

I also agree about the Godfather triple feature but it was worth mentioning. The Crocodile Dundee triple feature is a brilliant idea like the Ridley Scott triple feature.

I'd take a Tom Cruise Triple Feature:

Included titles:
-Top Gun
-Days of Thunder (in anamorphic widescreen finally?)
-The Firm

Actually, this is already out. Saw it at Costco for $14.99.

Don't know if it's already been mentioned but there's also a Samuel L. Jackson triple feature with Coach Carter, Shaft and one other I can't recall; plus a thriller pack with Kiss the Girls, Along Came a Spider and Double Jeapardy (sp?).

Don't you mean the boxed set? It's essentially the same thing of course, but the titles this thread refers to are usually all three movies in one keepcase (although some are actually boxed sets of slimcases). The original Naked Gun is in one of the collections, but it's not all three films. If you can find it, might as well buy the boxed set mentioned above.

It's a standard-sized DVD keepcase with a slipcover (it's "naked" at Barnes & Noble, as are many of the DVDs there).

I would put Vanilla Sky there instead of Top Gun, Paramount will probably want to keep on milking the 2-disc set. Good idea.

No it's not, The Naked Gun is part of a triple feature with Top Secret! and Airplane.

The triple features so far from Paramount I believe are:

Jack Ryan triple feature:
The Hunt For Red October
Patriot Games
Clear And Present Danger

Laugh Or I'll Shoot Collection triple feature:
Airplane!
Naked Gun
Top Secret

Samuel L. Jackson Collection triple feature:
Coach Carter
Rules Of Engagement
Shaft

Audrey Hepburn triple feature:
Sabrina
Roman Holiday
Breakfast At Tiffany's: Special Collector's Edition

Edge Of Your Seat Collection triple feature:
Kiss The Girls
Along Came A Spider
Double Jeapordy

Beverly Hills Cop triple feature:
Beverly Hills Cop
Beverly Hills Cop 2
Beverly Hills Cop 3

Than on May 1st 2007

Richard Gere triple feature:
a An Officer And A Gentleman
Primal Fear
Runaway Bride

Also there are a bunch of Double Features on the way like:

48 hrs/Another 48hrs
Waynes World 1 & 2
Down To Earth/Head Of State
First Wives Club/Sliding Doors
Eurotrip/Roadtrip
Tomb Raider 1 & 2
School Of Rock/Orange County

Also there is a Mel Gibson pack already on the way, but it's along the lines of that cheesy Matthew McConaughey Collection except with really great films like Braveheart, Payback DC and We Were Soldiers.
