The cover art change is an awful idea. I loved the Prison Mike version.

i actually like the new cover art better. the prison mike artwork just didn't fit for the packaging imo, since it was just a one-episode thing. if they had each character looking different, like jim in dwight-costume along with prison mike, it would've been better

Don't really care about the change, but I can see why some would be annoyed by the change. I tend to agree with shyguy, though.

Yeah, Andy in the sumo suit, Dwight in his staples shirt, that cover could have been something great.

You thought Prison Mike was funny? That is one of the few things that didn't work this season. I remember just cringing and hoping the scene would end.

There was quite a bit of stuff that didn't work in Season 3, but Prison Mike sure as hell wasn't one of them.

That was kind of the point. A lot of the humor from The Office comes from the "cringe" scenes in which you feel completely uncomfortable but can't help to laugh out loud at how absurd and hilarious it is.

This season of The Office amazed me. I don't know how they did it, but each episode just got funnier and funnier.

Um, yeah, I get the show. However, I definitely didn't cringe, feel uncomfortable, or laugh out loud at that scene.

I too, thought that the Prison Mike stuff was not great. I wanted to like it, I really did, but I thought that was easily one of the season's low points. "Dementors?" was an excellent line, though. The rest just didn't work.

the best coverart would put:

Michael - Prison Mike
Andy - Sumo Suit
Jim - as Dwight
Dwight - as Jim
Ryan - in his Diwali apparel
Pam - in her clothes she bought online

and then Karen... wearing nothing.

Yet another lame corporate suit decision. That being said, I'll get over it as soon as that puppy is in my hot 'lil hands.

I was going to hold off on purchasing this since there's so much other shit that I want, but I may just have to buy it on release day. Looks like a pretty nice release.
