Given a mid-June premiere for Season Four, don’t expect the DVDs out before mid-May or so.

Man I gotta catch up on this great show. I watched the first season months ago on DVD, but haven't see anything since.

I'd expect word on a release date soon. FX is pretty slow to announce things from what I've seen. Last season's set came out in May and I'm pretty sure it was March before it was officially announced.

s4 starts on June 12th, according to the ad on FX (the Shield) last night. I would guess they would release season 3 about a week before.

Like the artwork....

I'm thinking I might not jump and buy this as soon as it's released, unless they sell it at a real nice first week price. I'm tired of being burned(pun intended) paying 40 bucks and then seeing it a month later for 20 bucks at best buy.

I'm thinking the same thing. These always drop so quickly. But, at the same time, I'd really like to be able to watch at least the last couple season 3 episodes to refresh my mind on what happened before season 4 starts.

I thought FX usually replays some (or all) of the prior season in the weeks leading up to the new season premiere. Keep your eye on the TV Guide, you may see season 3 episodes popping up.

Season 2 was definitely $20 at Best Buy the first week it came out last year.

I don't think it was $20 the first week. I remember something closer to $29.99. Then it went down to $20 a few months later. I could be wrong, but I know I wouldn't have waited, if it was $20 in the beginning.

I've got a receipt from buying it release week and it's showing $29.99 at Best Buy. $32 and change with tax.
