This looked entertaining, but didn't see it theatrically-- nor would I now. But I have to say, that cover art is among the nicest I have seen. Beautiful design. And the lenticular effect, if that's what it is, is a great touch. Been number one at the box office for weeks, so it must be pretty good. Tempted to get it as a blind buy.

Oh, Filmmaker. Well, you can't ALWAYS be right. Night at the Museum was the best family movie this year. You must have had sand in your hoo-hah when you watched it.

The end credits of CHARLOTTE'S WEB were more meaningful and substantial than the totality of NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, my good friend, Mr. VanSciver.

Recently had an opportunity to see this, and while it was entertaining, I don't think I'm going to bother when it's released. Not quite good enough to justify the kind of expense the two-disc will likely command.
One question, though: Do I have a false memory, or was there a trailer for Museum that had an aspect ratio of 2.35:1? The movie is 1.85:1, and though the framing looked fine, I was sure there had been a modification.
I know scope movies often have trailers that don't match the aspect ratio of the movies themselves, but have you ever seen a 2.35:1 trailer for a 1.85:1 movie?

The release is quicker than I expected based on strength of box office, but I will pick up the two disc. I enjoyed the movie a lot, and the extras sound interesting enough. Count me in.
