Just thinking of this makes me laugh.
I'll be up for renting this guilty pleasure from the 80's if only to live through it again. I remember liking this cheese a lot back then, but I don't think I'll buy it now though, but I may change my mind

Watched this last night and it looks pretty good considering the age and budget of it. Mono soundtrack was workable. Zero extras. The basketball scene is more funny now, but the ending is still pretty freaky to me!

So I take it this came out yesterday?
None of my crappy Best Buys have it. Where did you all find yours?

How much did Walmart have it for? DD has it for $10.86.
I've never heard of most of the other movies in the "Twisted Terror" collection.

And yes, it's all about the basketball of death, a scene that's not overhyped at all.
By the way, that ending? That was, uh, what the hell happened?

Someone came into the Radio Shack I work at a month or so back and we got into a huge horror discussion as I complimented his Dead Alive shirt. He told me the basketball scene was edited for an X rating, but in a rare thought, the scene is just TOO GOOD to be better than it was. It's real tough deciding whether the basketball of death or the melting dude in RoboCop is the undisputed funny death of the 80's.

Reports indicate Deadly Friend contains extra gore in the basketball sequence and a dream sequence! Also Eyes of A Stranger reporatedly is uncut wilth all of Savinis effects intact. Just thought I'd throw that out there, for those interested.
