Thundercats 2-Disc Sets???

I've bought the four Thundercats DVD boxsets that all had the 3D covers. I thought that was it, until I went into a new DeepDiscount.COM outlet store that opened up in the suburbs outside Chicago. They had a 2-disc set that came with a DVD sleeve that had a velvet finish to it. It only had part of the Season 1 Vol 1 boxset programming in it This was the first I had ever heard or seen of it. None of the big chains near me like Walmart, Best Buy, or Target had these. There seems to be some out-of-print listings for this and other 2-disc Thundercats sets on Amazon, but you never know. Amazon listings are usually unreliable since they often feature double listings, imports, and bootlegs without actually specifying so. All I can think is that these were some online exclusive or from Columbia House or TimeLife(since both of those mail-order companies often break up and repackage TV show seasons for the purpose of selling more to their subscribers(thus making more money off of them).

If anyone know what I'm talking about or has any info, I'd be really appreciative. Thanks!!

When the first box set was released, they released seperate two disc sets with slipcovers. If you look at the cases you have in your box set, all of them have individual UPC codes. Amazon had them listed without pictures some time ago. For posterity I wanted to add them to dvdaf.com, but never found pics of the covers. The only place I ever saw these for sale was at a Hot Topic store in Nashville. Silver slip with the Velvet feel on the logo like you had mentioned.

If anyone has scans, that would be great.

Yeah, Hot Topic was the only place I saw them, outside of used at a local EB/Gamestop.
