How is the TV version different than the DVD version? (aside from R rated material edited out)

Howard and company had to videotape bumpers as to replace the R-rated content when shown on tv. Bumpers might not be the right term. But they were all new segments for the tv version and were a cool alternate to showing the film on tv. Used to air on the USA network all the time.

Private Parts, although Howard apparently doesn't want them to re-release it on DVD...

Leaving Las Vegas direly needs a new treatment and True Lies just needs some good features.

Gotta go with THE ABYSS just based on the sheer bad-assitude of the film, followed oh so closely by SCREAM, TRUE LIES and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE (in that order).

Unless I'm just slow on the uptake today and your being sarcastic.

I'd love to see a Special Edition of Coming To America, but I hardly think it's most deserving of one. The Abyss is definitely one of those films that demand the best presentation possible, because you really need to be immersed in the film, and not distracted by home video limitations if at all possible. I wouldn't buy it, but if you're asking which film deserves an anamorphic SE the most, my vote would have to go to The Abyss.
