Entourage Season 3?

Did a search... couldnt find anything...

Anyone know of any projected dates for the Entourage: Season 3? Any news?

I believe new episodes (another 8, I think) are supposed to air in March around when Sopranos comes back on. That'll give Entourage a 20 episode season. It might make it do DVD this summer (probably a little more than a year or so since season two came out) but that's just a guess.

Yes, from my understanding the last 8 episodes of Entourage - Season 3 are supposed to air alongside the last episodes of The Sopranos. And season 4 of Entourage is supposed to begin airing shortly thereafter (closer to its usual premiere date). I would imagine season 3 comes out on DVD during that brief window.

It really is becoming ridiculous how networks will go to these lengths to say all of these episodes are part of the same season.

Ok, so then the next 8 are definitely still Season 3. I heard a bunch of different things.

And yes, that is ridiculous.

Last I heard, yes. But who knows? I figure that's probably still true since we haven't heard anything about a DVD release yet. I know they shot 20 episodes for season 3, and have only aired 12. I would imagine if they were going to release those 12 episodes on disc before the last 8 air, we would've heard about it by now.

Well, I hope it comes out soon.

I blind-bought season 1 and 2 and loved it.

And from what I hear, Season 3's supposed to be a scream.

I thought Season 3 was solid, but not as good as S2.

The new Entertainment Weekly says that Entourage will start airing the remaining episodes on April 8th (along with The Sopranos), so I would guess sometime late in the summer as well.

Season 3 had the only episode of the series I did not like. Those who have seen it can probably guess which I'm referring to.

The introduction of Dom.

I know I'm not alone in hating that episode.

Dom was supposed to suck. That was the whole point of his episodes.

Agreed. You were never supposed to LIKE Dom. He was there to remind you how lucky we are week to week to have characters that are actually likeable. I didn't feel the show slumped when he was on, it just frustrated you more because he was such a Jackass and Vinny didn't notice it...I don't think his episodes are any anywhere close to 'bad'...

I really, really hated the Dom episode the first time I saw it...because it just didn't feel like Entourage to me. But once I re-watched everything on demand, I didn't mind the episode (and the next one) as much. I think it was just because the preceding Valley episode was my favorite one of the series, and the Dom episode was a complete momentum killer.

I agree Dom was supposed to suck. I get that. But I don't think the episode was supposed to.

I didn't mind the second episode with him, but that first one was just bad.

Nothing according to Speedy's thread:

Entourage: Season 3.1 >>>> $22.99

Entourage: Season 1 / 2 >>>> $22.99 each ****

****Get Ready To Hug It Out: Save $11 Instantly when you buy Entourage Season 1 or Season 2 // Regular Price is $33.99 each

I do not see any requirement to buy Season 3.1 with Season 1 or 2 to get the $11 discount

I liked Dom as an unlikable character, because I love 'The Wire', and that love extends to 'Entourage' whenever they have a guest star from 'The Wire'.

But this complaint, this is my only real problem with the show; I think it often seems as if they have an overall arc that could cover 6-8 episodes, and then they pad out the season with little stuff that isn't bad, but doesn't fit with that.

The second season, that was forgivable, because they did get extended at the last minute, so they had to throw in extra episodes to fill out the run ... and it's not that they're bad episodes, but they definitely slow down the momentum of the arc. But then, this third season, pretty much the whole thing was filler. I think they need more mini-arcs like what they did with Dom in theory, but I agree that those eps aren't particularly good. (Especially if you don't already love Dominic whatshisname.) I hope they do more stuff like Turtle's arc.

I feel like this upcoming half-season, we're going to have to wait until the last episode for
Spoiler:
Vinny to re-hire Ari
, even though we all know that's what's going to happen. I just hope it doesn't feel padded out when it builds to that.

On the other hand ... Johnny Drama is going to visit Brett Ratner this season! woo!

im kinda dissapointed in Best Buy for this one... last season they had that sweet t-shirt... and when i heard CC's and Targets exclusive, i figured theyd surely out do them.
