Anyone get "Snakes on a Plane" from CC? Wondering how the bonus disc is and packaging

I was wondering how the bonus disc is and how it is packaged (to see if it is worth picking up there or really not a big deal)?

thanks.

It comes in a small slip case attached to the outside of the slipcover.

it features Snakebite Survival (4:47), Kong: Creating a Monster (6:35), Animatronic Snakes (3:39), Flight Simulation (3:11) and trailers for other films from NW.

Havent watched it yet so I dont know if its really good or not but for $14.99 + bonus = sale!

I've read somewhere else on these boards that the bonus disc comes with the full-screen version only. Can you tell us which version you picked up? Hopefully they come with the widescreen version as well.

That was me. And I didn't say that the bonus disc comes with the full screen version only, just that the particular Circuit City I stopped in today didn't receive any widescreen copies that came with the bonus disc. I still don't know if that was just this store or a more widespread thing.

The full screen packaging is black and the the widescreen is the snake skin cover seen in ads, so it's easy to tell. The ones with bonus discs have a round Circuit City Exclusive sticker on them.

The CC by me had it on both. I got the WS of course. I dont see what some of the reviews said on the picture quality. Looked pretty damn good to me but I am not sure if thats because it was upconverted to 720p so the halos and EE was elimated...?

The pq looked great. And the DTS track was very lively. Pretty solid release overall.

Got mine at CC today (plenty of WS available). I'd almost forgotten that I have another SOAP CC preview disc with an 11 minute making of featurette & a trailer (& other NL trailers). It was available for free with any software purchase before SOAP was released theatrically. The bonus disc in the sleeve fits nicely right inside that box giving me a 3 disc set in 2 cases.

Photo below and at $14.99 well worth it.

Dont be fooled by the other disc, I got it for free (despite the fact that the said disc was their free offer back in August last year) as overstock of CC.

Well its free afterall and $14.99 oretty much ok deal...

Guess what, folks! There is another SOAP bonus disc! FYE/Suncoast have a disc as well. It includes a 15 minute featurette called "The Snake Pit: On the set of Snakes on a Plane" plus several trailers. The price is $19.99 - $7 rebate - $2 (Backstage member) = $10.99 + tax. Needless to say, I snatched that up quickly... It comes in a BLACK sleeve with the same artwork as the CC disc. The DVD is wrapped on the inside, in case someone wants to buy both and sell the 2nd copy of SOAP...

FYE and their rebates = FRAUD. Good luck getting your $7 back.

I'm gonna have to pick one of these bonuses, since I had cancelled my DVDEmpire order when they didn't get them in for shipping last Friday. I'll actually be able to snag one with goodies!

i like the snakeskin feel to the slipcase and luckily the bonus dvd fits inside. would have been nice to have a 2-disc case like BB did with "Crash" but beggars can't...
