I was watching SUPERMAN 4 with the commentary on and they said that once they knew the budget was cut they were in trouble. And I agree, SUPERMAN 4 with top state of the art fx would have been a good movie.

So the story didn't suck at all then?

Just ordered mine

I ordered my set on 12/18 from Target.com Should mine be free from the errors? (I thought it was unavailable for awhile). If not, what's the process?

I doubt it.

If not, what's the process?
Have you even glanced at the rest of this thread? It's well covered. In fact, that's the whole point of the thread.

I just got my new discs in the mail today. They came in the same kind of mailer that i sent the defective ones back in. They're inside white paper sleves for those that are wondering.

I believed they are closed today. I talked to the lady there last week and she said she would get back to me tomorrow.

Are you sure you have the corrected STM disc? I got a set that has the corrected S3 but I still had to send the STM disc 1 to Warner.

If you mean that there is a 2.0 audio track on superman the movie disc 1, then yes I do, and superman 3 is the deluxe edition.

The issue isn't whether there is a 2.0.... the issue is if it's the CORRECT 2.0.

That's the question and if you read the thread you get all the info how to find that out.

Yeah, and Rypro, as for Superman 3, you shouldn't be going by the disc art, but by the dvd menus when you put it in.

on Superman 3, there was a featurette about 48 min in full frame, a coulple of deleted scenes, and a trailer and a commentary.

For superman 1, I played the scene where Krypton blows up, and the opening credits, and for the 2.0 track, there wasn't alot of lfe and the surround channel's weren't as loud. For the 5.1 track, my sub really rumbled during the krypton scene, but it wasn't as loud in the 2.0 track.

I do believe I have corrected discs

eh, shit, maybe I did get the wrong version of 1. I noticed that there were new gun sound effects durign the shootout about a half an hour in (flipping back to the french mono track) but I'll deal with it because I have never been the biggest fan of those somewhat cheesy sound effects of older movies, and the new ones (to my ears at least) don't destroy the movie like something like Terminator 1 which over does the surrounds.

I sent my discs out last Tuesday so I think because I called the number so early (right after I bought the boxset on release day) they sent my discs out before they even got the defective ones in the mail. I was shocked when I opened my mailbox to find the new discs today. I was expecting it to take much longer to get them.
