Jason of Star Command, Is it coming?
Did a sreach but didn't see this. A local radio station here was talking about TV shows on DVD and how a lot of a lost shows that you ever seen re-runed have found a home on DVD. The one DJ started talking about the He-Man DVD release and then how he love to see other old 80's cartoons. Another guy jumped in and said "Well last night I read that Jason of Star Command, the complete series is coming". I was SHOCKED cause I thought I was the only person to remember this show! I haven't seen it in YEARS but would love to see at least 1 show on DVD so I can see if how it is. Someone as a kid you can love stuff that isn't as good as you remember it.
Anyway I searched all the over the net and got nothing on this.
Anyone hear or even know of the show?

Scheduled for Spring 2007 as part of BCI Eclipse's releases of the Filmation catalog. I'm dying to see this again. Craig Littler, who played Jason, was also the guy who asked, "Pardon me, would you happen to have any Grey Poupon?" in the famous mustard commercial. He also had a bit part in Blazing Saddles("Tex, ma'am.") and is now the Gorton's Fisherman. It'd be nice to see him and Sid "Dragos" Haig interviewed for the set or even provide a commentary.

If you want to jog the ol' nostalgia before the discs come out, hop over to this site, where you'll find all kinds of photos, info on the show, etc., even an interview with one of the baddies: Francine York, who played Queen Medusa.
