James Bond dvds

I recently purchases all 4 dvd sets from 4 different Amazon resellers.

DVDs are brand new and play well. The only thing i do not like is when you look at the dvd surface(under the bright lights) you see that the dye is not dispersed uniformly(like watermarks). I would say 15/20 disks exhibit this effect.

Does anyone else noticed it ?

I am wondering if it's MGM/SONY manufacturing issue or 3rd party that the company uses to produce these disks.

I also bought Rocky 5 dvd set a year ago from Circuit City and they have the same non-uniform discoloration (lilee watermarks). You can see it well under bright lights.

Any info would be appreciated

thanks

I got Volume 4 today. Moonraker had 2 special feature discs in it. The rest of the set is okay. Rather than exchanging the whole set at Target and risk getting another error, or scratch discs, I'd prefer to do the exchange with Fox. So I'm going to email them first to see if I get a response.

It will take 6 to 8 weeks for them to send you a replacement.
The disk i'm having problems with is FRWL. It will not play on either of my dvd players.
Hope this helps.
Thanks roger_d for the info. I think I'm going ask about sending my 3rd scratched up Goldeneye. Just an FYI, though, it's "Torrance, CA" (with an "A" not an "E").

Finally got my Volume 3 replacement set and the FRWL disc in that set plays fine on my Denon and PC. Whew!

Just got my 4 sets --- and I ended up with two copies of the FOR YOUR EYES ONLY booklet and none for GOLDENEYE. If anybody has an extra GE booklet and would like to trade for a FYEO booklet, please respond here.

Thanks!

Mike
