And Performance is being released here in the U.S. in February. So I hope this person was correct with The Devils coming out in 2007. It better anyway or I will be extremely upset with Warner. And if they do release it in the cut R version only,I will be even more upset with them!

Performance was rerated R recently, and it may be the uncut originally X rated version from what I'm told(which is what was recently resubmitted in the U.K. for release).

I don't see the uncut version of The Devil's passing with an R rating though. Well if they do use the British print of the film. I can see it getting an R today. But if the 'rape of christ' sequence were restored. I can see it easily earning an NC-17 in that case.

Though it would be a great surprise if that sequence did pass with an R rating today. I can dream, can't I
this title keeps on getting promised from both sides of the Atlantic - the UK edition continually has it's rumoured release pushed forward. I thought the inclusion of the 'Rape of Christ' sequence was only seen in the UK TV documentary.

"grow" I think the operative word here is "show"

And I don't think a Ken Russell set is in the offing. Though we may get a series of releases like Warners did with a few Visconti titles a few years back.
MUSIC LOVERS is owned by MGM as it was a United Artists release. It's easily my favorite Ken Russell film.

no, but television is an diffrent department. Warner has said in the past that they have no holdings on the show, and that it was between Fox and dc comics

No rumors, at least in Poltergeist's case, anyway.

In the HTF chat earlier this year, Warner confirmed that a two-disc special edition will be released sometime next year in honor of the film's 25th anniversary.

Gotta see a full-on SE of Creepshow with at least an in-the-same-room commentary with King, Romero & Savini.

I've been dying for this, I hope it's true. I remember hearing about that earlier this year.

I also hope for Twilight Zone: The Movie

wow! thanks I never knew that, I bet some lawyers from warner got fired over that. here you are warner(owner of dc comics) and you can`t release one of america`s icon heroes classic show and after doing some googling from the looks of it are being held hostage by fox.

I want Bogart movies like Black Legion, Conflict, King of the Underworld, Invisible Stripes, Chain Lightning, etc.

Maybe they could do some of those movies as "Double Features," like the Val Lewton set.

Just the opposite -- Fox wants to release it, but DC refuses to give them trademark clearances because they think the show's campiness will hurt the movie franchise.

Warner Home Video has no stake in the dispute because the series was made long before Time-Warner bought DC.

then boo DC, oh wonder why batman sells less 50,000 comics a month. maybe people don`t like thier gritty dark boring version.I remember when I was a kid in the late 80`s ,watched the batman adam west show, loved it, went down to little comic book shop and bought thier batmans and detectives and was bored silly of it.it had none of the humour or fun of the show.I decided to pick up a grant morrison detective over last summer, same stuff, I think I paid about 3 bucks to be bored. Thier still doing thier so called dark and gritty punisher who wears a costume with mouse ears batman.Only Frank Miller could pull off the gritty version and he could only do it once as the sequel The Dark Knight Strikes Again and his current All-Star Batman have gotten lukewarm reviews. To DC this is a injustice to millions of Batman fans around the world.
