I was looking on Ebay today and was wondering if this was ever released on DVD here in the U.S.

Nope. The ones on ebay are probably bootlegs. I would love to have this on dvd! Heather Thomas....ohh yes.

Who knew that this was remade into a Disney teeny-bopper movie?

Spoiler:
Just kidding but it does seem slightly similar sounding with the powers vs. controlling app even though supposedly they have nothing to do with each other.

Zoey is a talented dancer whose organized life is rudely disrupted when she moves in with her new step-dad and three step-brothers, until she discovers a dog-training app that can get boys to obey her every command. But she soon learns that it isn’t the cure-all she had hoped for.
