In his best Frank Barone voice..."Holy crap!!!"

That is awesome news. So is this going to have added footage you think since it's a Director's Cut?

What the hell. Go to IMDB and check the BIG page. There is dvd art as the main photo which appears to be this new dvd. It has what is probably a stupid title on it but its too small to see.

If that's the SE cover, it's pretty lame.

WTF??? Why don't they just use the one sheet movie poster? That's already a head shot of Tom Hanks.

I'm hoping that's not the cover of the new DVD.

I went to the Alternate versions page for Big and they had this :

A home video release of this movie in New Zealand is rumored to have included an alternate ending. The alternate ending shows young Josh sitting in his classroom at school when he turns around to notice a young female classmate of whom he recognises as Susan - who went back to the fairground machine and wished that she was Josh's age. The US DVD release of this film simply shows Josh and Billy walking up their street, then the credits roll in.

If that is indeed the new cover art then that will rank as one of the all time worst covers ever. But doing my best to match up the small words on the cover, I'm guessing that it's the tagline: "Have you ever had a really big secret?" A terrible tagline that would perfectly match that horrible cover.

That DVD art is from the UK DVD:

GoldenJCJ is correct about the tag line.

"I hate to say it but that cover makes him look retarded."

Exactly what I was thinking.
