Romancing The Stone / Jewel Of The Nile

My BestBuy had the two movie box set out today, so i picked it up. I didn't realize (until I got home, of course) that the box and the DVDs just say "Widescreen" on them, I panicked.

Rest asured though that both DVDs are in fact anamorphic. Good job Fox, no 5.1 (which I can live with) AND you misprinted the box

I'm confused. Since when does "widescreen" imply non-anamorphic?

And when's the last time Fox put out a widescreen DVD that wasn't anamorphic?

I don't think panic was called for.

I just usually see the word "Anamorphic" somewhere on Fox's Anamorphic releases...

BlueMan1, can you confirm that ROMANCING THE STONE does not feature its original theatrical trailer, but THE JEWEL OF THE NILE does; that's what the DVDTalk reviewer indicates and I don't doubt him--I just don't understand Fox's logic at all, if that's true...
