Umm, I would like to see "Tomorrow People" from the 90s, but I'm sure it doesn't hold up that well.

The #1 title I want more than any other is The Simpsons: Season 8 - it's the season I've been waiting for!

Other key titles that can't come out fast enough:

Arrested Development: Season 3
Slither
Blade Runner: Final Cut
24: Season 5

I take it we should mention only the ones that are currently slated for release (otherwise, my list would be MUCH longer).

- Double Indemnity
- Godzilla/Gojira Deluxe Collector's Edition
- Astaire & Rogers Collection, Vol. 2
- This Island Earth (maybe, depending on special features)
- Film Noir: The Dark Side of Hollywood set
- Maltese Falcon (3-disc special edition)
- Forbidden Planet
- Pretty Poison

At this point, there aren't too many for me. I should be getting into HD-DVD soon. I will have plenty of titles to buy in that format, but for DVD it's mostly some TV shows (AD, Lost) and less popular movies that may not make it to an HD format for a long time (RH:MIT for example).

Even if movies like 2001 and Grease don't get HD-DVD versions when the DVD SEs are released, I know they're coming at some point. I'll wait.

I'm really really anticipating Region 4 releases of A History of Violence (as yet unannounced), Kingdom of Heaven 4-disc DC (Stptember 6th for us), and Superman Returns (most likely sometime close to christmas). Other than that, on my "to buy" list are Fight Club, Citizen Kane, Taxi Driver, Match Point (16th August) and Dave Chapelle's Block party (17th August)

I'm looking forward to getting Sergeant York as a gift for my husband. He really liked that movie, & he doesn't normally like classic movies.

For myself I'm looking forward to the new releases from Jari Love this fall, Ripped 1000 and Get Ripped & Chiseled. I'll also probably order, though its been available for a while & doesn't really qualify as a new release even though its new to me, the Wizard of Oz 3 disc set.
