My CC had 3 of them, and I picked up one of them. They are all in individual keep cases, so it is pretty bulky. Since I already had the CE of Omen 1, I just put my old copy with the slipcover inside the box, and it fit perfectly. Now just got to sell off one of them.

I've finally seen it live. I don't know how it's packaged inside (it's covered in cardboard on all sides), but I don't think it's thinpaks. It's disappointingly chunky. It may even be individual keepcases inside.
The box isn't truly surrounded by cardboard on all sides.

After you open it it's just like your standard box set where the spines of the discs face out of the opening. That part is only initially covered by a piece of cardboard that is glued to said spines with that weak rubbery glue that's used in magazine ads and such. It's like a big bookmark.

They did the same packaging trick with the Jayne Mansfield set that came out a month or two ago. That little glued on 'bookmark' is annoying, since I like to keep as much of the packaging as possible. That thing just gets tossed.

BTW, I don't mind keepcases. I know they take up more shelfspace, but they look better because they are more readable than the tiny thinpacks that are being used for television shows now.

Hello All, I have the set here and opened, eash movie is in the standard keepcase, this set is about double the size it could have been. The Exorcist set is nice and compact, this set is HUGE and takes up way too much space! Great value though for 6 disks for $35, you can't beat that deal. The local Walmart had the new version for $17, for double that price you can get the whole series..

Did you take it up to the register? The instant $10 rebate only comes off when scanned at the register.

My Costco was also selling it for $20.99 ($30.99 - $10). What's the point of not advertising the discount. If I hadn't read about it here, I wouldn't have picked it up!

It is difficult to find the real prices at Costco. They have these instant rebates all the time, rarely if ever have signage, and they don't show up if you ask to have an item scanned. They only show up at the register.

Thankfully, we have some good posters here in the bargain forum and you can usually find these deals in the Costco threads.

A blind buy for me, but it looks like it will be worth it even if only the original is a good movie.

They might've been all sold out though then...I kinda like finding these things out in here.

I'm not a big Omen fan, but I couldn't resist this for $20.
