I agree. I have 5 season sets and the movie so far and I'm not gonna be picking this up but if they make the bonus discs available I'd be all over it.
bummer.

A sturdy 'footlocker' type box would have been my choice. Something along the lines of the Friends series box or the Unsolved Mysteries Treasure box.

Pulled the trigger at wherehouse. I doubt there will be a much cheaper price. DDD's price will end up being comparable at best. Plus, this one won't be backordered (hopefully).
One Xmas gift down. 24 to go.

Way to reward those of us who bought the season releases individually and probably won't be able to get the extras discs separately. Can you say "backlash"?

Normally, I'm against piracy, but if the bonus discs aren't made available for sale to those of us who bought all of the same discs separately, then I would not feel guilty at all about getting myself a copy if the opportunity arose.

From DVD Talk's review of MASH Season 11:
So now the good news: customers complained and Fox got the message. Reliable sources at Fox Home Entertainment have confirmed that "the bonus discs in Fox's all things M*A*S*H 'Martinis and Medicine' boxed set will be made available to fans in another incarnation soon." At this time Fox isn't offering any additional details, but that's encouraging news anyway, especially for those agonizing over whether to chuck their collections just to get those two extra discs.

I am glad to see my repeated calls to Fox paid off.

Follow up...
I emailed Gord over at TVshowsondvd.com and this was his reply:
Maybe it's time for us to get back on the phones and start calling again to make sure the new person in charge knows this is important to the fans!!!

I think they jumped the gun. I've spoken to Fox about this a number
of times (actually, I raised the issue the moment the set was
announced), and as far as I know they're still considering it.
Unfortunately the person who was in charge of the release has left
the company, so that may impact things.

So, would I be better off to buy season 10 and 11 for whatever I can get them for, or sell Season 1-9 (2-9 have never even been opened!) on ebay and get the set?
