Jackie Chan's First Strike/Mr. Nice Guy double feature question
Can anyone tell me if it is in fact a 2-sided, single disk with only the full frame versions on each side? Because I got it from DDD just now and I had to send them the following email:
Hello,
I ordered this DVD last week: http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/redir...fier=NLD010266
It states in the features that it’s a 2-disk set, and that it contains both Widescreen and Full Frame versions of each film.
Well, I received it today and, without even opening it, it only states that its Full Frame on the back (“Formatted from its original version to fit your screen”) and it sounds like there is only 1 disk inside, which I’m guessing has each film on each side.
If it is only Full Frame and one disk, I’d like to return it so that is why I am not opening it. I just was hoping someone there could confirm this first.
Thanks.

I am not positive, but I think the (single) discs for each movie are flippers with both widescreen & fullscreen each on one side, however it's possible that these double feature things are indeed butchered and they used the fullscreen side..
Snowmaker, most of Jackie Chan's flicks that are released in America by the American studios are usually edited (thats' really the wrong word, it's more like "cut" to speed up the pace of the movie) and the asian prints usually contain longer cuts..

Both movies were originally released by New Line (edited) as single-layer flippers (DS-SL) with FS on one side and WS on the other. I'm guessing that it's a single disk with either 2 FS movies on one side of a SS-DL or the FS versions of the movie on each side of a DS-SL.
Either way, you are screwed.
