Grease: Rockin' Rydell Edition -- Due 9/12/06

^Thanks for the news! I wonder if the deleted scene is a musical number. Didn't Marty have a solo song that appeared on the soundtrack but not in the movie?

I do like the T-Bird and Pink Lady idea.
Anyway, this time we should get a good transfer, and keeping the original soundtrack for me is the deciding factor. This is the film that turned me off remixes when I saw it rereleased in the theater. Plus, I'm glad we get the commentary track. I'll buy this release.
I could do with the trailer instead of a Karaoke track.

Hmm... I'm just trying to think to whom I could give away my previous version. $11.99 on sale next week is going to be tough to not double-dip with those additional features.

Just checked the Fracis Rizzo's review & think I might now give this one a pass. I was really looking forward to the deleted scenes, but he says they're just extensions or alternate takes of what is already in the film. Plus they're in black & white!
That plus they re-used the horrible audio mix from the last release......oh well.

The packaging seemed like a cool idea, but I think I'll just hold out for the inevitable HD DVD release of this. I suspect it'll come sooner, rather than later.

Damn, damn, damn.
I'll still probably hold out. But knowing this makes it tougher.

Ashame that Olivia couldn't have done a commentary. That would have been amazing.
Wonder if they will restore the stuff they blacked out in the diner.
