Any way to tell difference between original and remastered Charade Criterions?

The title says it all. I would assume that any DVDs you would buy today would be the remastered version (I believe it came out in 2004, whereas the original came out in 1999?), but is there any real way to tell? The UPCs seem to be identical.

Thanks,
David

The new version clearly lists 16X9 enhancement.

In the disclaimer on the back cover, it will say something like 'Second printing 2004' as well on the newer edition.

I would hope there would be a difference in the transfer or the picture...

There is a big difference, but I thought the poster was asking about finding out before buying it.
