Very nice set up Commanderdan!! Are lights above the poster built in to the wall or is it some type of track lighting?

The walls look great. I tried to use a similiar red color of Behr paint "cinnamon stick" and had horrible results. The paint seemed to run and leave blotches and discoloration everywhere even after a number of coats. We finally had to use a differnet brand of paint to get it fixed.

Yeah yeah I know. ;) The Sony does such a good job at the wide zoom mode that I hardly notice it anymore.

I installed the accent lights by actually cutting a hole into the ceiling (one for each light, of course) using the template provided with the lights. I then laid-out my wiring in the attic from hole-to-hole, and then installed the cans by wiring them up, and then sliding the light-cans into place.

We have a tray ceiling in the room, and the ceiling is somewhat “stair-stepped.” We actually painted the first “tier” of the ceiling the same as the wall.

I was hoping we would only need two coats of paint, but seeing as how we were painting over a light-colored surface (off-white), we had to apply a total of three coats for the wall to look consistent. (I even had to go back to Home Depot for more paint!)

wow... i think i'm in love with the custom Ship of the Line collection for the Star Trek Seasons. Anyone know a way to get them printed out professionally? I have a crappy busted printer that can't even print a letter without it looking f'd up.

Thanks!

I've been saying that for quite some time now. Part 10 has really died down. I never remember it being this slow before...

I guess I'll finally have to figure out how to post pictures and show my collection.

Here's the DVD collection...while 3,000 CDs are in boxes until I find more room and shelves to display them.

Nice looking collection engel07. You have a nice foreign collection. I see most of your collection is still sealed.

Engel07 01-02-07 02:18 AM

Thanks for the comment dizzlle01. I would say 40% of them are still sealed just because there are not enough minutes in 24 hours. About 5% of them I'm planning to keep them sealed forever. Also, I have started cutting the sealed wrapper just enough to take the DVD out these days; therefore, keeping the slipcase cover looking new.

Heres my collection, it's pretty small compared to alot of you guys collections.
But i'm only 18, and pay rent, shopping and smoke too many ciggaretes.

Everything you see I bought myself, from my wages.. im not someone who relys on his parents.

I need a new DVD rack, and should be getting some in the next month.
I'm really proud of my tv actually, It's only 32inch but it is HD ready ect.. and took me a long time to get.

My next goal is to get out of here, and get an apartment and have better space for a decent HT.

And I need some movie posters.

My TV and very low spec surround sound.. it does the job for me.
Bad picture I know, I tryed a few times and couldnt get it any better.

Thanks for looking!

WOW, that <i>I, Robot</i> "Sonny" head is super-freakin' sweet!!! I assume it's a limited-edition DVD package -- where did it come from, how much did it cost, and what's in it? Thanks for posting that! :)

Engel07 01-02-07 05:30 PM

You can still get it from Amazon in Japan for about $135 plus $10-$20 additional for shipping to the US. It includes 2 disc DVD set, plus a color Booklet of the movie. Another option is eBay. It's limited so you better hurry before it's Out of Print forever.

You'll probably noticed that I left the shrink wrap around his head just because it still want to keep it in pristine condition. I should take it off for displaying, but I kept it intact instead.
