Very clean OverPar, I like it alot. Where's the sub at? It looks like you live in an apt, any complaints from your neighbors below?

atari2600 09-10-06 11:32 AM

No complaints yet. I live on the penthouse level of 17 floor building built in 1968, so the walls and floors are divided by cement. I've adjusted the sub down a little bit so it won't be a problem. The sub is behind the blue chair.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm sort of a neat freak, so I don't like clutter.

very classy overpar

I love seeing the Clint Eastwood collection all lined up, I made mine crazy by putting all his movies in Chron order (except Sergio and Don's, they are in my director section) so I have a bunch of brown spines, then some random, more brown, random and so on.

Overpar, get us a picture of that view!

Overpar:

What kind of stand do you have that enables you to set your Center Speaker on your TV? Also, what kind of TV is that LCD Rear Projection...I can't tell.

Setup looks great.

PDTV, That is indeed a custom Star Wars cover I made a while back. It was designed to hold all six movies in one 10 disc case. You can download it from my site.

After seeing your posts, I was about to say "hey, nice to see you discovered rixgrafix.com..." Then I had to do a doubletake. Your covers are amazing, simple as that...

Overpar, Your penthouse is absolutely gorgeous, not just your home theater. I love that color scheme, and it's immaculate, like my home. Did you decorate it yourself? It's giving me some new ideas!

Nice set-up, overpar...and yeah, very clean. Not that clean here...thats for sure.:D

Those spider lamps drive me nuts, though. Now...just build up that library.:D

My tv is a Toshiba 52" DLP HDTV. The top of the tv where the speaker sits on is a couple inches deep. The way the speaker is weighted, I can just sit it on top of the tv without it falling over. I put a couple of rubber "feet" on the bottom of the speaker and they sit against the front edge of the top of the tv. I don't know if I explained that well. We don't have any pets or kids, so no one is going to bump up against the equipment.

Thanks for the compliments. My girlfriend and I decorated the place. Just in case you are interested, the lighter walls are "Silver Screen" Behr paint from Home Depot. The dark accent wall is "Dark Ash" Behr paint.

Congrats! I've had mine for just over a month now and it has made a HUGE improvement in my home theater. Really, that's the best $400 I've ever spent.
