Cheyenne Autumn DVD

Is it true Cheyenne Autumn, previously announced as being sold as an individual release, is now only available to buy in the John Ford box set?

I just did a search on Amazon for this boxset and Cheyenne Autmn isn't even listed on the boxset either. I'd love to get this DVD but it doesn't seem to be located anywhere yet.

Maybe you were looking at the Wayne:Ford box set?

Cheyenne Autumn is clearly listed as part of the John Ford Collection and on
the box art.

I have been on the fence with this set. I'am not familiar with the titles in this set. I doubt any of the titles would be an exclusive to this set but maybe I'am wrong?

As far as I know, until today, all of the discs in the set are exclusive to the set. I often buy boxsets and trade in the titles I don't want, and there was nothing for this one.

I'm pretty sure the rest of the titles are still boxset exclusive.

I recently bought this DVD, after it became available as an individual release. The transfer is awesome, and I was really enjoying the film, until my disc began to stick 1 hour and 16 minutes into the film. It does this on both DVD players I own, but, when I tried it in my computer, it doesn't stick [so I don't think the disc is defective] Has this happened to anyone else who owns this DVD? Can anyone offer a solution as to what the problem may be?

I bought the Boxset when it came out and I had no trouble watching the movie on my JVC player.

No problem for me, either. It's probably just your disc, based on what you describe. I've had similar problems with CDs: they play OK on the computer but not my stereo(s), but a replacement plays OK everywhere.
