In this special edition unrated version that is coming out on Christmas, will there be a choice to view Bible popups throughout the movie?

This violent movie is already pretty much "unrated." To make a G-rated version of PASSION OF THE CHRIST, this movie of "love" would have to be cut to 30 minutes long...

Actually, it could be edited to be PG by removing roughly 10 minutes of footage. Most just by trimming shots of the scourging.

The first hour of the film does not have much violence, so it wouldn't require much editing. The shot of the temple guard with the ear wound would probably be trimmed to be much shorter (in order to remove the 2nd half of the shot with him turning to show the severed ear). I don't think anything else would have to be trimmed until the scourging scene an hour into the film. If the color was manipulated to lessen the redness of blood, it would probably move the rating down a bit (this was done for ads on TV and clips for broadcast). It worked for Taxi Driver.

It would be an interesting editing project, but I don't think it's right to edit someone else's film.

Will Greedo shoot first in the special edition?

As a side note, don't you have to be at least 15 to post on these forums?
