Same goes for the Simpsons' visit to NYC. I hardly ever see that in syndication, so when it finally aired I decided I'd keep it "just in case".

Seinfeld airs nightly in DFW. Once a night M-F and 1 hour on Sunday night.
And I can hardly wait for the rest of the seasons to be released - hopefully they will be all released by end of year. I am definitely looking forward to that.
And yes, the "Soup Nazi" eps were some of the best.

Well I assumed they would follow the same pattern as last year but obviously that is not going to happen. It would make sense that they are holding onto season 7 for the final release because I'm sure the soup nazi episode will be featured prominently in the advertising.

looking for anymore info if this is comfirmed to have all 3 seasons released in november?

Not so crazy if you read about the architecture and early production problems already.

wasn't x-box originally sold at a loss? it's not too farfetched, i'd imagine that a good chunk of the console manfuracturers planned profits are in the games.
but back to topic, yea where is my season 7 8 and 9.

I think that most, if not all, consoles are intially sold at a loss to build market penetration.
I think that we will see seasons 7 and 8 marketed in the fall together. We may even see season 9. If 9 does not come out then, I think Sony will hold it until the 2007 holiday season. Season 4 did not sell nearly as well as any of the other seasons having been released in May of 2005.

Just a bump to see if anyone has heard anything new about more Seinfeld sets. If seasons 7 and 8 are coming in November, as the most recent TVshowsonDVD story suggested, then we should be getting an annoucement very soon. . .

Sony made last year's official Seinfeld announcement 10 weeks and 1 day before release date. Since the 5 & 6 box set was out on November 22 and the 1, 2 & 3 box set was out on November 23 I would hope that a 7 & 8 box set would be out by November 21, and which would mean the official announcement should come on September 10 provided that November 21 is the release date and they go by the same press-release schedule.

Interesting to note that ONLY season 7 has been announced for November release in R2. That may mean that seasons 8 and 9 will also be released later, either separately or together.
