The "Full Screen" edition of The Whole Ten Yards.

I win (or lose...either way).

I have a few purchases I regret, but I say this is the worst. I don't know what I was thinking, 90% of the time I can't stand Martin Lawrence.

I'm too lazy to sell it or any other bad movies I have, plus I'd only get a couple bucks for it if I'm lucky. I probably posted the same response in a thread like this years ago, I think I bought Big Momma's House the week of its release.

Every time my girlfriend comes back from the store she buys progressively crappyer movies...so the worst movie in the collection is always changing from week to week. This week it is Teen Witch last week it was How to Be a Playa.

I have a movie called Tequila Body Shots, starring Joey Lawrence.

It's utter trash, but it's fun, because the movie doesn't take itself seriously at all. I like the style (Spanish day of the dead/halloween) and the ridiculous plot.

Honey. Couldn't make it through the movie but the cover isn't bad. Still can't believe Ipurchased it though. Second would be a Hilary Duff movie which again I still haven't been able to make it through.

Virus with Jamie Lee Curtis. Easily the worst blind-buy DVD ever.

Totally, another "crappy" movie I'm looking forward to adding to my collection.

And As for my worst that would probably have to be Encino Man or Jason Goes To Hell
Wow, I love Encino Man. Although, it's "California Man" here.

Well, that might do it. I guess it's a safe bet to avoid watching Visitor Q with mom

You know you own a horrible movie when you can't even sell it

As for these two, I don't mind them too much. No, they're not great, but fun and entertaining for those times you want to give your brain a rest.

Never heard of it, but surely it's justy GOTTA be better then the excretable 'Body Shots' w/ Tara Reid. Quite possibly the worst film I've ever seen in my life. And I just know that SOMEONE out there bought a copy of it.

As for movie, the worst I have decided to keep is the HK action/comedy Pom Pom & Hot Hot, a terrible movie whose last 15-20 minutes showcase some of the best action footage ever filmed.

As for DVD, the worst supposedly professional DVD is probably Fox Lorber's release of Chabrol's best film (in my view) L'Enfer, for which they used a print that looks like someone wiped his ass on it.

Oh, don't get me wrong. Those are bad movies too, but I can actually watch those and enjoy them for what they are. I don't think I'll ever sit through Robocop 2 and Alien 4 again unless someone pulls a "Clockwork Orange" on me.

Bad movies:

Unknown World http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0044167/
Fear Chamber (If you look closely, Boris Karloff can't walk.) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0062960/
Magic Sword (Basil Rathbone had given up trying.) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0056211/
Monstrosity, the Atomic Brain http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0057859/
Phantom Planet http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0057859/

None of these are the MST3K versions. Mrs. Danger just likes bad movies.

Bad DVDs:

Deadly China Hero (Wilshire Films. Made into a widescreen by dropping black bars on the top and bottom of a pan-and-scan. You see lots of chests and arms.)
Phantom Empire (Alpha. So much noise that it's hard to hear the dialogue.)
Woman in the Dunes (Image. Terrible transfer of a good movie. One of Ebert's 50 great movies. Tragic.)

Thanks for ignoring my question.

Are we talking about the movie itself or the quality of the presentation.

If we're talking about the movie, this should be in the movie section. If we're talking about presentation, it would be here.

This thread appeared to be about either and is appropriately here.

If it was about the worst movie you've ever seen it would go in Movie Talk.

Yeah, if we are just talking about the discs themselves I have to go with the Bela Lugosi collection. Horrible DVD-18s that freeze up on two of the movies making them unwatchable. I dumped my other problem DVD-18s but couldn't bear to part with this set for at least the movies that work correctly. For flat out most embarasing awful movie I myself purchased on DVD I still stick with Showgirls or maybe H.O.T.S. You can tell what I was thinking about when I bought those two DVDs.

I usually try to only purchase things I like to watch, so my "worst DVD" quality wise is a W.C. Fields short film collection released by Madacy Entertainment. The films themselves are hilarious, but the picture quality of the DVD would give one the impression it was mastered from a worn SLP-mode VHS tape. Definitely wasn't worth the $9.99 I paid for it. I vowed NEVER to again purchase anything released by Madacy.

I need to eventually spring for the Criterion version of those films...
