The Terminator - MGM/Sony
Terminator 2 - Lions Gate
Terminator 3 - Warner Bros.

There will be no box set.

Then check-out the 20th Anniversary Edition version of Alien, versus the relatively new Alien (CE).

The picture quality and sound are dramatically improved. If it can be done there...

Well, Josh, I had forgotten about T3 - which was actually forgettable to me anyway, LOL. Then just give us a 1080p master of Terminator with a decent 5.1 track, call it an Extreme version, and we'll be set.

Alien was a much higher-budgeted movie, photographed entirely on studio soundstages with controlled lighting conditions and high quality film stock. The first Terminator was a very low budget production shot mostly outdoors at night on cheap film stock. There's only so much it can be cleaned up. It will always look "gritty".

There's not going to be a new 5.1 mix. See my response on Page 1.

In less than 10 years, such a set will be released by Cyberdyne Industries.

John Connor told me.
