The Bruce Lee: A Warriors Journey DVD is missing audio commentary and some extra scenes in the R1 version.

I guess they were too lazy to resize the special features box.

My copy also has "DTS Digital Surround" listed in the box as well! No DTS on disc of course.

The first release of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" states very clearly on the packaging that a theatrical trailer is included, but it's nowhere to be found. This was more than a little disturbing since that trailer was the only promised extra! (Of course, the two-disc "Vista Series" edition, released a few years later, more than rectified that omission).

I remember the missing Roger Rabbit trailer, that always bugged (until the VS, at least).
West Wing Season 3 lists a gag reel that isn't there (lists in like three places, I might add).

I've never been able to find the trailers on the An American Werewolf in London SE (Universal) release. That's why I bought the older version too, just to get the teaser trailer.

THE TIME MACHINE was supposed to feature an isolated score by Russell Garcia. This was dropped. Fortunately the original soundtrack (not the also very nice re-orch. on the Grescendo label) has now been released.

The Region 1 Warner Brothers DVD release of The Lord of the Rings (1978 classic) lists a theatrical trailer that is nowhere to be found on the disc. The "special features" that you actually GET are some stupid biography-type texts. Damn, this film needs to get released on a special edition! Universal gave David Lynch's "Dune" a special edition -- why isn't the original LOTR film getting a special edition?

If I'm not mistaken Quantum Leap Season 2 mentions Special Features on the back but there are none to be had on the discs.

Something's Gotta Give lists a commentary track including Diane Keaton, but she's not there.
I bought the Sade Lovers Live DVD in part because there's a DTS logo on the back. There's no DTS track on the disc. Guess they just think the logo looks cool.

Missing features listed on disc
Young Frankenstein boasts commentary by Mel Brooks, but even though it has a link listing it, when you click on it you get a message saying that it's not available.
Brotherhood Of The Wolf indicates that it has an English language soundtrack in 5.1 surround when all it has are subtitles. Since one of the two stars speaks English as his primary language, there's no reason an English soundtrack wasn't created since subtitles are rather small on a TV screen unless you have a really large monitor.

And since I am a purist, the French track should be the only one on the DVD. Every actor in Brotherhood of the Wolf speaks French. The audio recorded on set was that in French (unlike the Argento/Fulci/etc. productions of the '70s and '80s). Not only that...

Because these used to be considered special features.. Maybe they're just late to the game in realizing that.
