Dollman/Demonic Toys boxset coming

From Charles Band's Blog on February 3:
"One bit of good news – we are definitely getting the DOLLMAN/DEMONIC TOYS DVD Box Set from Australia later this month. It’s a 3 DVD set: Dollman, Demonic Toys and Dollman VS the Demonic Toys! I don’t know what the price is yet – but I should have that information early next week and also when the DVDs should get here."
I love how he gets around copyright issues by having them 'imported from Australia.' Anyway, sucks for me since I just inadvertantly bought bootlegs of all three of these DVDs recently (I thought they might have been released on one point and long OOP like the Puppet Master movies, I was wrong...)
Anyway, I think they should have also included Bad Channels, since that's where Dollman's girlfriend in Dollman vs Demonic Toys got shrunk.

Wow. I will get this in a heartbeat. I love these movies! I am pleased.

However, I too would be even more pleased if they included Bad Channels. My VHS of that isn't getting any younger.

Yes, they should have added Bad Channels. If you'r going to add Vampire Journals to a Subspecies boxset, then Bad Channels should be in this. Oh well, I'll be doing the nasty to this set when it comes out.

I love these movies!! Interesting fact: screenwriter David Goyer ("Batman Begins"; "Dark City"; "Blade 1-3") wrote "Demonic Toys" and "Dollman vs. Demonic Toys Demonic Toys."

Well, you won't actually have to import it, it will be available on fullmoondirect.com. 'Import from Australia' is basically a way to get around copyright issues for the movies, I believe I heard that the other 'Australian Imports' weren't even found in Australia.

More info from Charles Band's Blog:
"Good news on the Demonic Toys/Dollman Box Set front: we should have the first shipment here by Friday, Feb 24th!!! I’ll have a shot of the box next week and will post it on this blog. The price is $39.95. Apparently it won’t be announced or released until mid-summer abroad – but we are getting an early first shipment of x300 units. We’re all excited as it’ll be the first time we’ve ever seen these films on DVD!"
That last line is funny, seeing as how on their site they have import (Mexican?) DVD of Demonic Toys for sale.

R0 (all region) NTSC
Speaking of which, doesn't Australia use PAL? If so, more proof that this is just getting around copyrights.

Thought I'd point out that it looks like this is getting a wide release, or at least Amazon will be getting it. The good thing about that is, number one it costs less and number two I can use my Amazon Visa rewards on it :
