Can you remember where you bought EVERY dvd in your collection?

Although I use DVDProfiler, I've never felt the need to enter info about where I bought the DVDs and how much I paid. It was too late to do that anyway when I started using the program, but even if I had it when I started buying DVDs I don't think I would bother to do it.
So, I would be going by memory. I went through the first 50 DVDs and there was one I don't remember, so I would estimate there would be 7 or 8 I don't recall.

Not a way in the world I can remember where I bought all of my DVDs. Half a dozen different states, different cities, flea markets, pawn shops, release day purchases, online sites......

I can remember where I bought everything, but some places, like Wal-Mart or Best Buy, I might not be able to remember which exact store. I've bought discs at two or three different locations of each store, depending on where I was.

Where did they all come from?!? Good question! The best I can do with my collection is narrow it down to four places:
BestBuy
Walmart
BlockBuster
DDD
I can safely say that 99% of my collection came from one of these four places!
Take care all!!

Just for kicks, I went through DVDProfiler and compared to see how good I would do. I thought I'd have a pretty decent success rate. It turns out my memory sucks and I failed miserably. In the first 10 I got more wrong than right, so I just gave up.

Sorry for the thread bump, but finally found the answer to my own question.
Got it for free with Daredevil at Sam Goody!

I bought a player in 1998 and my first two DVDs were L.A. Confidential and Contact. There was a coupon at Target for two free DVDs with the purchase of a player.
After that I bought four from Suncoast when they had a buy one get one free (or half off) sale on New Line titles. I bought: Austin Powers, Dark City, The Player and The Sweet Hereafter.
And I can probably remember where and roughly when I got every other DVD I own. Though it's not such a chore since I only have about 130.

For the most part, yes. Or at least I can find that information. I do use the 'where purchased' on DVDProfiler, and the only blanks that i can recall were either contests I won, DVD clubs, or trades/gifts, and given the dvd title, I can remember where it came from [in the case of a gift/trade, maybe not *from* whom, but that it was a trade/gift].
And yeah, I've only got 170 or so titles in DVDP; it's not like I'm trying to keep track of 600 or so.

It's weird how tokin' bud for 20 years had not damaged that one little section of my brain. All 2,200+ titles. I can remember the place, on-line or retail store....for every freakin' one!
Now wheres my damn car keys?

I can look on dvdprofiler and find out, but otherwise I wouldn't know.
I'll give you an example. Just the other day I was looking at my movies and saw "Into The Blue". Now, that movie hasn't been out very long, but I could not remember where I got it. It turns out I got it in a trade from this forum. Out of 600 DVD's, I'd be surprised if I knew where I got 30 of them.
