Sure. Pull one out and ask me and yes....I'll tell you where I bought it or where it was ordered from. Just don't ask me for a date of when I bought it.

Almost, I'm losing touch with the history now that I don't catalogue anymore and was surprised even today to find out that I bought X-Files Season 3 from Best Buy, I was fairly certain that I'd bought those from Amazon.com.

Strange enough, my husband would think I'm nuts for knowing this.

No way. But I could look it up in DVDProfiler. I have all that data in there.

Not with my dvds nor my cds. But I can remember where I purchased every one of my old vinyl albums and at what theater I saw every movie I've seen.

Not a chance, though 99% of them have been bought from one of three places, so I could take a stab at it.

I could guess about 2/3 of my collection. I at least remember the first one I bought.

I also have every receipt for all 2013 (sans the few I've just recently traded).

Nope not the stores. But I can remember what state I bought most of them in. Like CT, Il, NY, NJ, NC, Hawaii, Florida and California.

Actually, I'm looking, and... yes. Yes, I know where I got them all. Crazy.

I can easily. I can also remember the circumstances of just about every movie I've ever seen, such as where I saw it, who I saw it with, was it opening weekend, etc. going back to my childhood.

Yes, I'm certain I can. I've always had a knack for remembering things most people can care less about. I know which titles I bought and where and which titles have been gifts and from the person the title(s) came from.

Out of 445 I can remember almost all of them, but there are about 3 or 4 that I'm not 100% sure on.

Yes maybe one or 2 I'm fuzzy on, but I only started 5 years ago and barely have 100.

Same for me. I can do it with all the music I own, too.

I might not remember some people's names that I've traded with, but I know which ones were bought, where at, I could probably tell you how much I paid, and around what date. No, I don't keep track, yes, I had an odd memory which remember slight details that probably waste more space than they should.

The store bought ones, probably. For online, I'm sure I can say they were purchased online, just not where.

how the hell can you all remember where every single DVD came from? i mean that is amazing, but for the ones with 200+ or even slightly less...how? i have a great memory for certain things, like entertainment, names of actors and movies they were in and stuff and i do know where i saw and who i was with for most theatrical releases as i have saved every stub since 1985, but with my dvd's there is no way in hell i could tell you if i got half of them at best buy or Circuit City or online or what. some yes, of course, but all 500...no way in hell. i think it is like asking where you bought that bag of chips you enjoyed in 2002...how the hell can you know?

I know i can name the first few i got. My first one was L.A. Confidential in 98 when i got player at Circuit City(which i was later kicked out of for badmouthing divx in front of another customer). Then i know i went to Best Buy right after that and bought Austin Powers,Species, Scream, and the Elite NOTLD(in that very weird plastic case that opened at the bottom).
Other than that, probably not.
